Weren't we getting Tab S7's for like $250 after trade in?

Samsung seems to have really over priced these tablets.

Samsung trade-ins have become less attractive over the years. I remember the days when I traded in base S8 to get S10+ for less than $100. nowadays Samsung is asking for last year's device as a trade in and pay $500-$700 additional on top to upgrade. blows the whole appeal of Samsung trade-ins

they want 359 plus tax for an 11 ultra with my 10 ultra trade in. if it wasnt for the non compatable keyboard case I would of done it. All the 10 to 11 upgrades plus 2x storage I think is worth it.

Yup I remember trading in for the next tab or phone for $100ish for 3 or 4 years in a row... Sometimes even cheaper if you bundled

About 2-3 years ago, those deals and values went away and now it's always $300+. Doesn't make sense for virtually the same product

The S9 and S11 base are OLED screens. S7 and S8 were LCD/ IPS. Whether you consider one better than the other is a matter of opinion but Samsung considers it a premium feature and the price reflects it. Nobody else, until recently has offered an 11" OLED tablet with those specs. The was no 11" S10 offering for some reason.

Yup. The rate of change and innovation has slowed to the point where it doesn't make sense to trade in a last gen device anymore. Even 2 gens old doesn't seem to make sense.

The trade in values for last gen vs 2 gens old is almost identicial. Then at 3 gens old, the trade in value is almost worthless to the point where you might as well just keep the old tablet for use out in the garage or something.

I agree. The fact that they keep changing the design every year making the previous keyboard case incompatible is insult added to injury.

exactly. minimal aesthetic changes and slight processor upgrade makes it a worse "upgrade". moreover Samsung now seems to be fixated on what apple is upto and keep removing their own identity from their phones. they are innovating in Foldables but lag behind the Chinese competition in major areas like battery, longevity and price point.the best thing to happen to Samsung customers is apple releasing its own foldable to give Samsung real competition in North American markets.

Not sure if they still have the pre-order bonus. Traded in my Tab S9 for $339 with the keyboard cover. Honey gives $60 CB. Was under Samsung advantage program, so getting to add two years of free samsung care.Anyone willing to buy the $100 Robux? PM with offer.
How much are we talking about for the Roblox? My son's birthday is coming up and I can definitely use it.

Exact same scenario for me. Was ready to trade in my S10U, but they just had to change the connector (thinner tablet forcing it?) and requiring another keyboard purchase. No thanks!

The release offer is normally pretty good, with a free keyboard which seems to be missing, but also the storage upgrade. Very low prices won't be at least 3 months.

But yeah, those trade in days were an aberration. I traded in my S21 phone for an S22 Ultra, unlocked, only paid $18! I know I'll never find that again.
