My ENT gave me this recipe a long time ago that I still use:

1 gallon distilled water
4 tablespoons sea salt (with no iodine - I buy big ones at Costco)
4 tablespoons baking soda

Shake/allow to dissolve and use as needed; you do not need to boil.

I paid $11.58 for the 50 packet box in December 2024. It really does work well. I had a really stuffy and leaking faucet runny nose in December 2024 and this helped. I couldn't breathe through my nose and was going through a lot of tissues. I probably used like 7 packets since December 2024 so I have so much leftover.

Great deal for pre packaged. I use these when I travel, but at home I just make my own. 2 Tbs pickling salt and 1 Tbs baking soda. Add half a teaspoon or so to 1 netipot of warm water. Works great.
