I had an older 15.6" Yoga and in tablet mode it felt massive in a not good way. Best to test drive at the store first if you're not sure.

Unless something drastically changes with resource requirements, I highly doubt the average user is going to need more than 16 GB RAM in 3 years. I've been running 16 GB for over 10 years.
