Ideally, you would be taking this while exercising and sweating a lot, and not as a drink sitting at home. When you're exercising a lot, you need sugar and carbs to get keep you going.

Great deal. But 25 grams of sugar... yikes. Less than soda at least 🤷🏻 ♂️

I always cut these with at least 50% added a water.

Rather make real fruit smoothies to recharge carbs. This is only good if you are trying to gain weight

Yeah, if you're exercising rigoursly for hours per a day lol. The average person isn't even exercising an hour a day.

that's correct, still 23gm added sugar is too much that's constitute 46% as per the label details.

The marketing of this product is to create a sense of guilt-free indulgence when consuming this sugary drink

Well, the average person shouldn't be drinking these honestly. If they're complaining about the sugar, they are the ones that shouldn't be drinking this. I think those who complains about the sugar in this are the same people who just want an easy way to get healthier. Similar boat to those who wishes to take miracle pills to lose weight.

And yes, I'm aware I'm stepping on a lot of people's toes with this post. Whether you like what I'm saying or not, figure out whether or not this post holds true to you or the people you know.

There are literally "zero" sugar versions available people. LYTE as well, which are my favorite as they have more unique flavors, I ordered the Dragonfruit Berry, but also the Peach Mango (my favorite) and Blueberry Pomegranite, which came out to $12.28 each, still cheaper than I see at the store. I did order the Zero Fruit Punch and Zero Cherry Lime as well, not brave enough to try the lemon-lime since sooo many brands mess it up IMO.

I see nothing to complain about here, those options are all 0-20 cal/ser and 0-2g sugar. You are still saving money on them compared to big-box stores. Having to pay a little bit more to get a version that is healthier for average people is still worth it.
Compared to my favorite gatorade fierce grape, the LYTE version has 1/7th calories, 1/9th the sodium, and 32g less sugar (34g less added sugar). So you can still enjoy these drinks. They are as good an option as sparkling water, or near enough. I don't drink gatorade anymore because of the sodium and added sugar, I just don't need those.

And, thus the average person shouldn't be drinking this kind of stuff, ever.

Between basketball and soccer, my kid is running about 8 miles a day--everyday (according to his tracker). Doesn't matter if it's 25 degrees F or 110 degrees F outside. He still has to do it. That is the kind of person who has no problem drinking this.

I hope the people who say there's too much sugar in an energy drink don't ever look into energy gels and blocks. They'll complain about the high sugar content in just a single bite of those.
