Doesn't cut 2x6. It was a PIA to flip and cut every time

This saw is useless. I own and it's so not worth it. Spend a little extra for a 12"

Exactly. Idk why anyone would by a 7.25" miter saw. Even if you can get it for free it's basically a waste of space being this small a blade

I picked up one of these today. Its not intended to cut 2 x 6. Its labeled as such saying it can cut 2x4 straight cut. I have large miter saws but this one is ideal when you need something small and lightweight for little stuff like trim, etc., and without heavy startup amps.

I also meant to add that I went and grabbed one in person and it showed up as $149. My local Lowes claimed that if you want the online price you have to pay online. A quick Google agreed with them. I went on their app and asked the Lowes assistant if they honored their own website prices in store and it said, yes with a big explanation. I showed it to them and they honored it. Not sure other people's experiences with that

Seeing $149 online, but sounds like others are seeing the lower price online?

I got the sliding version of this and its great to have something small and easy to take outside vs my bigger saw. that said, without sliding this is kind of useless for most tasks.

I have a refurbished Ryobi in this size. Very small and convenient for cutting smaller sections. 2x4's are at the limit. Bigger more capable saws have been on sale near this price, IMO not worth it at this price.

Excellent saw, for the slider version. I have one for over 15 or so years. Paid like $70. The laser went bad in half year mark. but the lightweight and power was really great along with accuracy for excellent miter cuts.
