Product Description from Store:
- Improve your daily exercise habits, get into shape, and draw back the curtain on a new, legendary body! While retaining the basic features of Fitness Boxing, this new installment adds characters and settings from the world of Fist of the North Star for truly effective workouts!
- The Fitness Boxing series is a boxing exercise game that utilizes the Joy-Con to let you throw different punches in the same way as in a rhythm game, while receiving directions from in-game instructors voiced by popular voice actors.
- In Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star, Kenshiro, the protagonist of Fist of the North Star, and his rivals guide the player as instructors.
- A new "Battle" mode has been added that lets you defeat enemies in the same way as in a rhythm game. The game contains two modes that let you experience workouts with a greater emphasis on action: Outlaw Battle, in which you take down scores of outlaws with your punches, and Boss Battle, in which you fight Kenshiro's rivals such as Raoh.

I was already like going for walks and doing push-ups basic at home workouts.
I wanted to try something new that felt fun to play. I grew up doing martial arts and stuff and I also like music. fist of the North Star is not a great game at all, but it is silly and really fun. it uses a the system from my fitness boxing and puts an anime theme over it with enemies to beat up and bosses to fight!
you can just cheat the entire game by throwing whatever punch you want much like the Wii. but staying immersed and being on beat and trying to hit every punch properly feels like an actual workout when you're done with it.
Ring Fit is going to be a more full workout. but this game can be fun if you like to be immersed in the silliness of it. The more you are into it the better your workout will be.
I think there is a forced tutorial and it's agonizing. the first few levels are pretty boring too being mostly jab, hook, and switch sides. but as you go you unlock a larger variety of moves and you can find tune which workouts to do.
let me tell you though, these games got me more fit, gave me an appetite which saved me from my eating disorder, and overall made me happier!
If you are on the fence, just get it and see how you like it! remember that you can totally get ring fit used CiB for less than two months of Gym membership if you get serious about it!
