Wondering how useful these are for Teams calls etc. Since this is just the mic, don't you still have to carry your phone around, or wear ear buds (in which case, wouldn't you just use the mic in the ear buds)?

You get what you pay for. The transmitter is terrible. I recommend the brand Goya it was recommended to me by a local newscaster
