It's a very sturdy box though. More akin to a case. I'm not talking about the flimsy ones that come with a PS5 controller or Xbox. Even comes with a plastic controller Stick and button Guard.
But I digress. This is still a pretty good deal for a solid controller, but on it's own the case doesn't really seem worth it to me.

I know people like to bike-shed deals with triviality, but "actually the included cardboard box is a case!" has to be a new low.

Great deal with a case for those that don't care about magnetic/ swappable (read losable) buttons on the 3.
I wouldn't care if the Pro 3 had those or not, I'd still want it over the Pro 2 for the dpad alone.
