Same price currently at AAFES for those that can shop there. But, they've been as low as $699 a couple of times recently.

If you dont need it now, hold off until Christmas timeframe. Its not going up in price. Most likely no new Air model this year for this sho have stated M5. That will be clear in October. The great price on this was 699 on AAFES. Its been 799 many times in recent months.

Another thing to note, the extra $200 for the model with two extra GPU cores and 512GB SSD drive also gives you a faster SSD drive. It probably won't be noticeable in every day quick write/read tasks, but could be a benefit to those who regularly work with large files. The 512GB drive can be up to 50% faster in write operation, in certain tasks.
