The mechanics in these are very basic, which turns out to be a good thing. The "top setting" for pressure washing is likely completely blocked unless selected. Meaning there should be no issues unless the whole shower head is shot. For $10 to have a removable shower head, this is going to make cleaning your shower ALOT easier just in that aspect. This is $10 well spent if you ask me.

My showerhead needed and update, so I got this a few days ago. It's definitely a steal at 10 bucks. I didnt think the power wash function was necessary, but it's actually pretty useful to wash away residual soap. Very happy with this purchase.

I have a similar showerhead to this one, except it has a filter in it. The powerwash setting won't turn on unless you swivel the rotary switch to it. (This one seems to have a button to turn it on, though, which is nice.) It's been pretty useful for spraying the inside of the toilet clean.

Haha...that's exactly what I was thinking. A lot of people seem interested in defending the reliability of the switch to that on an item that's suspiciously super cheap.
