Great timing. My Mom's 7-8 years old 70" Sharp Aquos just literally stop turning on.
And getting the power panel (guessing that's what it is) repair will most likely cost almost as much as this new TV.
Hate that a not even 10 year old TV is disposable.
UPDATE: Ugh - Clearance OOS "26" version is $50 more.

Sharp has been garbage for the last ten years so not shocking. They don't even sell their own TVs in the US. They're rebadged Hisense.
