The Samsung website says "230 ANSI Lumen (Peak)" which apparently is a different measure than regular lumens. That translates to around 552 lumens. https://www.samsung.com/us/televi...f3claxxza/
"The conversion factor of approximately 2.4 comes from the fact that the LED lumens rating is often 2.4 times higher than the corresponding ANSI lumen rating for the same projector." via Google

It is only 230 lumen. It is not very bright and picture looks washed out.

ANSi is the standard lumen measurement it doesn't "convert" to anything. This is like saying gallons of gas from a shell gas station convert to 2 gallons of gas...... 230 lumens is a miserable low amount for a projector. It would be ok for a $30 projector you were buying to project a ghost on a wall for Halloween or maybe for kids cartoons in a completely dark room. 2000 is ok for a darkened home theater room that has lighting controlled. 3000 if you want to watch movies in a room that has some light! I bought an LGPF100U ( 1000) lumen ultra short throw projector and it was useable I guess I absolutely couldn't watch The Batman on it it was too dark and any light turn on ruined the image and I replaced it pretty quickly, 230 is an absolute no way!
