vegan leather = plastic
Yes, I got fooled by that once -- never again. Of course they won't say 'plastic purse' as no one would pay/buy that -- so they try to fool you with 'vegan leather' instead. Marketing is so underhanded and slimy.
Which do you guys prefer PU (artificial) leather or genuine leather?
PU leather will peel within a few years. Real leather (when properly taken care of) could last your lifetime

When looking at leather products in general, most expensive will be full grain leather (most durable, will have natural grain patterns)
Top grain, below full grain is cheaper, thinner, been sanded to remove natural grains. Will hold up well over time if cared for properly. (Usually used for furniture)
Split grain has very low durability, requires more care but will crack even with care
Genuine leather (bad naming choice) is lowest quality of leather. Cheapest. If item will see wear and tear or if you expect item to be durable, DO NOT get genuine leather variant. Usually used in pieces that see very minimal use or are not required to be durable/exposed to wear and tear
What would be ideal price to buy Leather Tote Bag? like medium brand not luxury. in your opinion
Will depend on style and company that made it. Will range from $90 - $150. Luxury brands would be $250 - $450

I'm actually planning to make women's leather bags for FBA in the future. I know a few suppliers who produce for big brands, and their leather quality is top-notch.
What do you think, what kind of company name would sound good for that? And do you think it's better to follow the trending designs from top brands, or go for a more classic style? Also, what kind of challenges do new companies usually face in this space? If you don't mind, I'd love to hear your ideas.
