This makes more sense with a 500gb ssd at the very least or 1TB. 32gb of ram is fine because of the integrated GPU and if your running software that can actually utilize it. I used to have this model and often played with davinci resolve on it and one time I saw 11gb of vram usage, which is more than my desktops 8gb can even use.

How is the battery life on this? My biggest concern is the small battery size

Do you guys know if this supports display out over USB c port? I mean if I want to connect it to one of those portable monitors, will it support the display with a single type c to type c cable?

Generally yes, as it has 2 USB-C ports with displayport 1.4. That is generally sufficient for most of those.
