It will for fixing small areas but there is better stuff to do an entire window install with. Clean the glass really good first.

What is this used for? It seems like one of those items that I either will never use after buying multiple tubes at this price or will wish I had bought it after the price goes back up

It's used to put on weather stripping on your car. It shows a pic in the ad of someone applying it. I recently bought a container 2-3 times this size and it was 7 or 8 times the money. I wish I woulda waited . I got a 69 skylark conv soon to get all new weather stripping. But I've had cars in the past that had a piece or 2 falling off.

My father was a adhesives engineer at 3M. He use to bring this stuff home in the lab test batch tubes and used it on everything. It is an extremely versatile rubberized adhesive.

I've used this stuff for years. Great contact cement; follow the directions. Affectionately known as "gorilla snot."

Does anyone know if this can be used with engine head gaskets? It is recommended that in some cars, such as the BMW E-46 series, that an adhesive be used in certain areas when putting in a new head gasket.

Used this on my Tesla Model X both front door weather seals were almost completely off and just dangling this stuff put it right back and holding strong for more than a month now.
