Surfaces are such junk.
What's the best alternative for a casual user who wants a lightweight windows PC that can double as a tablet?

I got a Surface 11 earlier this year. Now, it's not the most powerful computer on Earth that can run Crysis 3 at 8K 240 fps but it's strong enough for me to program Python in VSCode, watch 4k movies from my JellyFin server, read books from my BookShelf instance, and play games like Guns of Fury, Ikaruga and PacMan: Championship Edition DX+.

And going by this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/...hink_a_86/
It can run the entire BioShock series and even Black Mesa.

I don't know why anyone would call it junk.

I have owned a surface for years. I love mine. I use it mostly for office related tasks and as a service technician with manufacturer specific software. Nothing to demanding. We recently started getting everyone at work them and my wife uses one at work as well for similar tasks.

At this point I feel like Microsoft should pay me with all of the surfaces I have sold for them after giving reviews. Haha.
