there are other deals on the Axis 24L for $45 and the Proxima 30L for $60. Take your pick on the size you need.

Hi, what's the difference of you don't mind
Osprey is mostly an outdoor gear brand, primarily for backpacks. If you go hiking, you'll see this is a super popular brand. They are known for its quality and reliability. And they have a solid guarantee if you damage your bag, you can reach out and they can repair or replace it for you. Usually anything Osprey, you buy it and you are set for life for it. I can't say the same for brands like Nike or Adidas (these are just mainstream brands that don't always sell quality stuff -- they are not made to last). If you're into getting a new Nike bag every 2 or 3 years (or less), then go with the Nike.
Also, Osprey products are usually very well designed and well thought out.

Good for Air travel? Can it slide below seat if needed?

It fits great under seat for air travel. Pockets are relatively minimalistic and the side straps pull in to make it fell smaller/secure if it's not fully loaded.

I'd consider the Osprey Daylite 26+6 for travel. The back luggage sleeve makes a difference in ease and convenience. Size wise no problem with it on Ryan Air as personal item under the seat. The Daylite 26+6 opens up clam shell style for easy loading/retrieval. Deals for the Daylite 26+6 may be rare but if no rush it's worth keeping an eye out and wait.

The only drawback is it doesn't attach to a rollerboard easily. Great suggestion otherwise

This is on point. The other bags from costco will do the job but expect to replace them every 1 to 2 years.
Osprey is a bit pricey, but these days you gotta pay a premium for quality.
