this frame looks eerily identical to a coolaroo branded pergola I had several years back. it's ok at best for a year or two but there's a lot of weak points that will make sure it doesn't last longer than that.
the canopy is held on by cheap plastic and the frame is very cheap and light. like blows over in medium winds light.

Go into your profile and check your address. I got that same error a while back and somehow my address had been wiped from my profile and I had to re-enter it. Not sure if that will help but worth a try.

About what I'd expect at this price, and even more so from Ali.

I buried mine 1' into the ground and use it as a grape vine arbor. Has held through 2 hurricanes. This wont support anything structural, grape vines are fine.

If it blows over, isn't that a problem with anchoring it appropriately? Essentially just need to make sure it's bolted to concrete or piers in the ground. The canopy does look cheap and not long lasting but aside from that the pergola itself should be all good, as long as it doesn't rust out. Any other feedback, I think the Vevor brand products are pretty decent for the price break.

I'm building a new home, and my rear patio is 196 sq. ft. Would this pergola be a good fit for that space? The patio is attached to the house. For this type of pergola, should it be detached, or at least placed a few meters away and connected with a walkway?

How do you replace the canvas when it fails?

I owned this same pergola. It is cheap. If you have any sustained wind at all you will have issues unless you strengthen the connecting points, seal the pole tops (those plastic covers will fly off), and Make sure the legs are fully immobilized. We put ours in huge planters with decorative rock to keep them in place. That being said it was toast after three years, we had some heavy sustained moderated winds and it broke in about three places.

I've had this for almost a year. It's pretty thin, but I anchored all 4 posts into concrete and it's held up great. We get big winds here and it took 50 mph great. The restractable top sure helps with wind resistance too. The top has magnets that are supposed to hold it open. Junk. There's some string there so I tie the top to the pole to keep it open.
