IT is so broad. Please tell me this isn't someone in desktop or hardware support who should know this kind of stuff...
how about this one - I bought a new Asus nuc about a month ago and called their help desk because I was struggling to it up to install a new nvme drive. the tier 1 help agent did not know what an nvme drive was. I said thanks. I'll figure it out.

Tier 1 help desk is note taker. That's literally their job.

Then tier 2 gets it. The best tickets have enough information to let them know that somebody has some kind of problem and the phone number to call is up to date. People get angry having to explain the problem again, but that Tier 1 person probably wrote it down wrong at the very beginning. You'll probably get better and faster support explaining it all over to a person with a decent bit of skill.

The item description says it supports both M and M+B key SSD. According to this article https://www.kingston.com/en/blog/...-m2-vs-ssd a SATA m.2 SSD has the M+B key. So a SATA m.2 drive should work with this enclosure.

Q&A on Amazon says "The FIDECO M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure is primarily made of aluminum, but it also features some plastic components".

I have 2 of these and they work very well, problem is they only transfer at 40mbps. My UGreen can top 260mbps, it's on sale here > https://a.co/d/dSxanhL

The speed makes a huge difference if you're loading a handheld or setting up a new laptop
