Lowe's has several VEVOR cast steel blacksmith anvils on clearance, with discounts up to 44% off. Availability for free store pickup may vary by location.

Notes:
  • These prices are very competitive and are currently lower than the sale prices on VEVOR's own website.
  • Availability for pickup is dependent on local store stock. YMMV.

Look at the price per lb. The best deal is on the "VEVOR Cast iron Cast Steel Anvil 55Lbs Blacksmith Workshop Vise" for $54.99.

That one says cast iron cast steel. The others say cast steel. Gemini tells me cast iron is bad for anvils.

it's hard to say whether these are worth it or not, though marketed as "steel" that can encompass a huge variety of quality. Better than the cast iron anvils from harbor freight but how much better may depend on the day to day quality of metal coming into the factory

I asked Gemini and it said this brand gets good reviews for beginner anvils. I've bought other Vevor items (impact sockets) that were an exceptionally good value. I was notified of the anvils because I set up an alert for Vevor after buying the impact sockets.

I also priced forged steel anvils and noped out of that idea.
