It is without kindle unlimited and ad supported version incase someone missed to notice that. Doesn't seem like a great deal then

I LOVE ereaders and have both Kindle and Nook devices. Putting aside anyone's individual device preference, ereaders have been 300ppi since around 2015, and for a while it seemed like prices were racing lower and lower. Then Kindle kind of won the battle over Nook, and prices stopped dropping. In fact, you can still pick up a Kindle Paperwhite 3 for pretty cheap. It's pretty easy to replace the battery if necessary and there's barely any difference functionality-wise. Not to say there's anything wrong with this deal, just a commentary on the state of the world.

I sent them a message to add mention of ad-supported when they're back online.

For this price, you may pay a few dollars more and you can get brand new Kindle paperwhite.

1. If you have Target circle, you should get 20% off purchase, expiring Sep 27. You can use it on a Kindle paperwhite.

2. If you have Bank America credit card, go the BankAmericaDeals and select Amazon devices deals. You can 10% to 40% off on Amazon devices.

I love ereaders. I started with Kobo refurbished eReader for $40. Then, I started buying Sony, Kobo, Nook. Those are all for epubs format. I got into Kindle much later. Now I own mostly Kindle (paperwhite, Voyage, Oasis), with only 3 Kobo. Before the tariff took effect early this year, I already ordered a few ereader batteries for the future. It took 2 months for the shipping. I won't need to buy any ereader in the near future.
