Just put something with some weight in it. I also picked one up last year for a few dollars more. So far holding up ok.

Do these hold up well against animals? Like mice and other rodents? I wanted to store some of the seeds I saved in a container like this in my garage so it's less clutter in the house

Bought basically the same thing from Home Depot. Left an empty one in the attic for a couple months and was still insect-free when I opened it up. Would buy again.
