as long your wire supports at least 45W you should be good

That's incorrect. In order to get access to 40W of charging, your brick needs to support USB-PD 3.2 SPR AVS, which isn't widely available on the market yet. So, your Anker bricks don't support it.

For anyone wondering what the real world difference is between the two. This should do 50% charge is 30mins. Apple's new charger does 50% in 20mins. Not a crazy huge difference, but I guess if you're a perpetual 5% battery type of person, always on the go, can only charge for a few mins a times, it might make a difference?

I can't think of any reason to buy this older version of 'Ace 313' model A2677. Here is Ace @ the new version:

https://www.target.com/p/anker-ac...A-89089857

Still on sale for $12 Anker A2643J11. 'Ace 2' improved upgraded version of the 'Ace 313' It is the latest model. Excellent performance as as measured in my load testing as a universal USB power supply even if you don't need the punchy 5 amp 11v PPS mode designed for the S23 and S24 Ultras which both have. Better build quality less $$$. Runs cooler. Both support 21v PPS for Pixel fast charging at 18 volts. weighs 89 grams

For the smallest lightest version: Anker's previous smallest 45W charger, the Nano II 713, measured 1.49 x 1.38 x 1.62 inches in size and weighed 69 grams. The new version is smaller yet at 1.30 × 1.26 × 1.45 inches and weighs 52 grams.

If people are wondering, the difference between this (and the newer Ace 2 that was on sale recently) vs the Nano is that they're newer and have 5A and 21V profiles for Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0 (for models older than the S25, which no longer needs 5A and PPS to do 45w), and for Pixel 37W charging that requires the rarer PPS 21V profile, respectively.
