They put palm oil in peanut butter as it's solid at room temperature and has no taste. It prevents the peanut butter from separating.

all true but they do sell peanut butter without added oil elsewhere, it won't be smooth and tends to separate out

The oil in the product is the difference. Palm oil for this product and vegetable oil for the blue labeled one.

I thought I liked this better than JIF natural until we had both natural chunky peanut butters side by side. I was converted. The JIF natural chunky tastes better. Try both side by side if you can. I was a doubter before this. Try it yourself if you dont believe me Big Grin

Yeah, but you have to stir the heck out of it before you use it. I've heard you can stir it real well and keep it in the fridge to prevent that though.

Completely correct. I stir the heck out of it when opening, then refrigerate . No more separation
