I did not downvote your comment, but I think people need to bring facts to the conversation. Often "food grade" ingredients are different from commercial/industrial ingredients (glycol is an excellent example). Back to carnauba wax... it's ironically (vs your comment) a rather natural ingredient derived from tree leaves:
