Can't bring myself to do it. I know they advertise all sorts of built in protection, but I don't trust that they've implemented it in any kind of a safe way at this price point.

I'm not electrician, but for a battery backup system/solar storage, if you had 10 of these in series, you'd have 120v correct? Then you could run 100amps for 3 hours (or even less amps for longer if you turn stuff off during an outage). Seems like a pretty good starting point for a cabin or something.

Please do not put 10 of these in series, it would be a really dangerous idea. To get 120v you'd want an inverter to turn it into AC like you get from the wall.

It would be 120v DC (more like 130V actually) which is not too helpful and kinda dangerous..

Also I think many of these batteries have a series limit due to the BMS

You can't put more than 4 in series. The BMS is not designed for above 60v. Will fry itself.

Don't buy these. I have some and they all tested far below rated capacity. The company will gaslight you and not let you return for capacity issues.
