$80 for just a non moving dust shroud, is wild. That should be a $8 part. I cannot see how this would be a good purchase.

Dewalt's vacuum hoses and adapters is a legitimate nightmare so they've conditioned idiots like me to buy this so it fits. I need this but won't buy it as I'm pretty sure a spool of PLA would knock this in the dirt.

I have the 4-5" HF Hercules one and it has worked great for my needs. Used it with a diamond grinder disc to grind down some high spots on concrete. It feels like it'll hold up but admittedly don't use it enough to really know (but it's over half the cost of the Dewalt). Currently $34.99 but you could likely get it cheaper catching it on one of their regular coupons/sales.
