Learn from my (and Amazon's) mistakes … DO NOT have this delivered with other S&S items … them may well be pulverized (from crushing by this item) when received.

I don't see why not if you want a little flavor. I can't stand gin though. I don't feel like the flavors in these are strong enough to cover alcohol by themselves.... in my mojito example above we still use lime and mint, we just skip the lime juice. Rum works ok since it's a little sweet. Vodka has more of a bite these can't cover. But everyone's experience and preferences will vary. OTOH I'm not exactly using top shelf booze either LOL
