Ya - I have the 3qt D3 and the handle on my 1.5qt Everyday is amazing. Trying to replace all my D3 with Everyday now (for the models they make)

I have them all: The original D3 with straight rims, the new D3 with flared rims, and the D3 Everyday (with smoother handle and flared rims).


I have to be honest. The differences aren't terribly meaningful, but the original D3 is probably still my favorite. The handle is super "grippy" and the lids fit more securely.

For sauce pans, the bigger difference is between sauce pans and sauciers. I much prefer the sauciers for virtually all uses.

But if you hate the original handle, get the Everyday. No need to overthink it.
