how does this compare to the Lenovo Legion 7i for $2000 at microcenter? actually i see the graphics 5070ti vs 5080 is decent upgrade. MSI is slightly thicker and heavier but no OLED. both support Gen 5 nvme

Has anyone upgraded the RAM on an MSI system? Answers on questions posted looks like it can be upgraded.

Lenovo has an OLED screen
Lenovo has 32gb of ram, the MSI only has 16gb which can be too low for many tasks. Upgrading, if possible on this model, would increase the price and possibly void warranty.
Lenovo has 2tb instead of 1 for storage. Same speech here about upgrading.

Also the real difference between 5070ti mobile and 5080 mobile is maybe 15% performance difference.

Overall I would pick the Lenovo in this scenario.

Looks like it went down another $50 in the same day, now only $1949.99. And just to note, those who have Best Buy Credit Card, you can get quite the reward certificates from this purchase as well.

check out the ho omen max 5080 open box best buy deal on here. I went with that instead to try out. I'm a Lenovo legion fan oh but for the price with a 5080 it seems like it might be worth it over getting the 5080 legion from microcenter I have for $2300 +tax
