I'll never buy another large item from Aliexpress again. Currently dealing with a defective 3D printer that Aliexpress is trying to tell me I need to pay my own return shipping for. The shipping costs $100, which is over half the cost of the printer. PayPal is trying to tell me it's Aliexpress's policy and standard practice for the buyer to pay return shipping. Now having to file a chargeback through my credit card.

Got the Ladped lp60 last month. I've ran through the battery 4 or 5 times so far since I got it last month. I just blast around the neighborhood or cul-de-sac for fun. Put some sweet underglow on mine, also from AliExpress. The kids in the neighborhood are jealous. Its a Xaomi 365 clone. If you don't mind it slowing down to 11 mph up slight hills and 9 mph up steeper hills, get it.

I think this would be cool to keep in my car And when I want to Go somewhere downtown I can park further away where the parking is free and use this to get to my destination, but what would I do with it once I do get to my destination? Lock it to a bike rack or something?

I'm looking for a scooter but I'm scared of no brand / random brand safety of batteries catching on fire or what not when charging.. I know nothing about batteries before so yeah.. how does this compare or should I just wait and spend a little more on something reputable?

I had the xiao mi when it first came out and was using it everywhere nicely before I parted with it a few months later.. but now I am on the lookout for a new one to keep in the trunk for parking

Seems like they could put a loop/hole on it somewhere so you can run a lock through it.

Maybe a huge padlock to go around the neck between the base and the steering arm?
Kids at my university just use a regular u-lock around the neck, handlebars are too big to get through it and at the end of the day it's a $100 scooter.

I purchased the lp80 a couple of weeks ago and have been having a blast with it. Just wanted to add real world user experience to the post:
Range- definitely overstated. Will maybe reach around 15 miles with "double" the battery capacity of the lp60.
Speed- I've only been able to achieve the stated "19 mph" in optimal conditions. That is flat riding level + full charge of battery. The battery is measured in 5 blocks. When the battery is 3 blocks or below, the max is 16/17 mph. All my riding has been done in sport mode.

Besides the caveats of the "technically capable of reaching the advertised metrics" under certain conditions, its been a very fun and useful ride. That being said, the lp60 has half the battery capacity of the lp80 and I highly recommend going for a larger battery especially since the lp80 that I got with the larger battery isn't hitting the advertised metrics.

Ultimately, this is an entry level scooter and with that in mind, I feel like I have gotten my moneys worth. Hope this anecdote helps in any way to someone considering the purchase.

Buyer beware... I bought this scooter on August 7th and have been using it since. My three kids dont use it a ton, and we have another hiboy S2 scooter as well, but it does get use. Over the weekend it randomly stopped working. The display is showing a "17" with the 1 being in blue and the 7 being displayed in red. Nothing in the manual addresses this specific issue and it will no longer work. It has a full charge too. We tried power cycling it but nothing...
I am now starting the return process with AliExpress. We will see how that goes but I am of course within the 90 day window. I know I know... "you get what you pay for"... yada yada yada
Yes, please keep us posted about your AliExpress return experience. They aren't accustomed to the quality of service we receive here so you do have to be persistent, like asking for service at the ER where they think you don't have anything serious.

used it for a week,
getting 8 miles range,
anything over 20 degree the bike slows down to less then 5mph
max speed has been 14mph on flat ground
i weigh 170lb
for $100 thats 3 days of lime bike.
20 degree grade is pretty steep - where is this?

I've been looking for something that I can carry some light groceries in across a 8% grade both way. If I'm making 7mph on an 8 degree grade, that's great!

Also, lime bike costs $30/day? EEK!

Thousands of kids die in cars every year, but I bet you're not advocating to ban cars. It is shocking the level of depravity needed to blame the victims while ignoring the causes: kids killed inside of cars by cars and kids killed outside of cars by cars.
I bet he advocates for seatbelts.

Go get this people... I hardly leave comments, but this one deserves 5star review from me. do NOT buy if you expect $300 scooter' suspension with 10" , this does NOT have soft cushion , but with solid tire. I used to own $300 scooter, got stolen on CalTrain commute, and ended up in getting bit cost-friendly scooter - LP80! at $150ish on FP , not this LP60 (this advertised) without all the bell/whistles that's good enough to take me for 1mile (roundtrip), flat-terrain from train station to my office. I had to recharge after 8-9miles, so far below than advertised 15miles- but hey, I maxed out the speed, and once / week charging didn't matter to me. Weight is light enough and you can fold this thing and small enough to tuck under your train seat. (why do i not use Bike cart? duh) So bottom line - I get 10miles with LP80.. Like commentor music_man26 (LP80 owner) mentioned, / agreeing to my point for lack of "distance"- go buy LP60 if capacity doesn't matter to you. It's got less juice than LP80 for sure. For me, if wasn't LP80 deal, I still would've gotten this $100 deal, and ended up being happy despite my charging freq would be from once / week to once /3 days for 9 miles - that's me.

100% agree with your real-world user exp. I also bought at same time of yours Smilie I get around 9 miles...before I feel "the need" to recharge as bar is only 1. I love this scooter which is good enough for my need.
