Its replacement with improvements has been announced, it is A11+, will be in stores soon. I have this one and it takes forever to charge. I don't recommend it above $120. If you have a Metro phone, they will give you one for less than $100, you just pay for one month 5G service and then use it in WIFI only. Price includes 1st month of service.

Can this drive a HDMI monitor over USBC?

It looks like the Metro version of it (with 5G) has support for this (non 5G versions likely don't) but can anyone actually confirm it works

Does anyone have a link to that, or a Slickdeals post about it?

A11+ tablet is not in the stores yet. Here is an article about it.
The Samsung Galaxy A11 Plus is an unannounced, upcoming budget tablet that is expected to offer a larger 11-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with 5G connectivity, and a larger battery than the standard Tab A11. It will serve as a successor to the Galaxy Tab A9+ and is likely to be a more premium, feature-rich option compared to its smaller sibling.

Just go to the Metro website and look for the tablets.
