I have noticed an increasing percentage of scam returns such as someone returning their old Ecobee thermostat in the box their new one arrived in and someone returning a new wheelchair in the box belonging to a much nicer one. Amazon accepted both returns from me. I will most likely video record unboxing of expensive items from now on to protect myself. I'm not going to stop buying from Resale though as it still passes the cost benefit test.

I've had bad luck with resale recently. I bought a DJI Action 5.... and someone had RESEALED a Action 4 in the box. It took almost a month and a half for Amazon to refund me, probably because it looked suspicious from their end.
Not worth even touching this stuff unless it's ultra-cheap.
You are a victim of how I call it 'Gypsy's Prime'.

found a ps5 controller today that had the discount..and of course the discount dies while i'm debating buying it for a couple hours because i'm busy 🙄
Prob a 3rd party seller. Has to be sold by Amazon Resale. I saw a lot of products in used category but some colors and options were out of stock and not all colors qualify for the additional discount.
