Most TB cables are short. Longer cables use fiber.

Tracking, but 3.3ft is sort of pointless for most use cases. You can definitely get up to 6ft with a passive TB cable.

Full speed is impossible with 6ft passive cables, so no you definitely cannot get up to 6ft with a passive TB cable, unless you're fine with non TB speeds...

The longest passive cables are 1.2m, and that's pushing it, they easily can drop to 20gbps speed from so much as a fart in the room.

If you're seeing passive cables longer than 1.2m, they either are limited to 20gbps, are outright lying about compliance or are mislabeling LRD active cables as passive.

A lot of manufacturers mistakenly labeled LRD active cables as passive, because LRD cables are fully backwards compatible with older USB and DP-alt mode devices.

I see, it seems you are correct. In my defense, I think I was more concerned about TB3 (which was the last standard I was used to)... sort of read past the 80Gbps label on the OP (TB4/USB4).
