Never never never ever get a Samsung dishwasher. Major headaches starting year 2! You will regret it.

I've read that same sentiment multiple times in different places online.

Year 2? Mine made it to week 2 when it started getting fault codes. Samsung warranty is near impossible to deal with if you don't have the phone number you setup your samsung account with 9 years ago.

It was such a hassle, I bought a new maytag. Now the Samsung is just sitting in my garage. I fixed it (just needed a re-seat of the door connection switch) so now I have a spare brand new dishwasher I don't trust enough to sell.

F' Samsung.

Yup, same experience. Mine had a tub leak after only 2 years. Also, had a Samsung washer that leaked after a couple of years too. I've stayed away from Samsung appliances that use water since.

Had this dishwasher for under a year and one of the legs gave out. The threads where the leg screws into failed out of nowhere and it's all plastic. Samsung warranty is horrible they had a tech come out tried telling me it was cosmetic and is not covered by warranty. Stay clear of this unit it's all plastic like most newer ones. I ended up buying a GE which I believe is the only one still made with metal parts.

At least you're technical enough to troubleshoot and know the issue. 😅

I agree. Based on my experience with my still broken, 4 year old DW80R7060US dishwasher, and the repair estimate that is almost 2/3 of what we paid for it, I cannot recommend Samsung dishwashers.

Bought a Samsung gas range and all of the knobs cracked and would fall off. When I called and let them know that it was a safety issue, they sent out identical ones, with the exact same plastic flaw. You can literally find replacements on Amazon that state that they're far more robust than the OEM ones, so it's absolutely a massive issue that they haven't acknowledged.
Bought a Samsung dishwasher and it lasted ~4 years before just completely shutting down and not restarting. Didn't even try fixing it as it would have been more than the thing was worth.
My Samsung washing machine is going great, though?

my samsung washing machine was a disaster. after a ton of repeated warranty calls, I gave up on it.
