It runs great on Steam Deck, yes. Also best played with a controller IMO, though it works fine on keyboard/mouse if that's all you've got.

The main story is anywhere from 10-30 hours depending on how good you are at this type of game. However, there is a ton of side story content (character dialogues) that stretches out well past the 50 hour mark.

If you start getting into Heat levels (a system that adds difficulty modifiers) many players can probably get well over 100 hours of entertainment out of the game just challenging themselves to harder and harder runs.

But even if you just play the main story, it's well worth 6 bucks. Quite possibly my favorite indie game ever made.

Reddit says it runs flawless on the deck and generally says steam deck, but it might be one of those "whichever you use/carry around more" types of answers. Is your steam deck the lcd or oled version?

Tough one. Great game... I think I will go with Switch because I take that around more.

Downgraded graphic on the switch. Unless they update it to switch 2, rather get it somewhere else.

I've been happy playing it on Steam Deck. I think Valve and Nintendo take the same 30% cut, but I'd rather go through Valve given Nintendo's recent legal shenanigans.

I have also recently decided to give up on Nintendo. Have owned every console since the super Nintendo. Switch 2 will be the first one I'm skipping out on.

also just wanna clarify the storyline isn't 200 hours. Probably closer to 25, but theres a lot of content and depending on how skilled you are can range from 75-200

Seconding Orem's comments above. Never been a rougelike kind of guy, but the gameplay feels great, awesome art style, and the story is fantastic. I happily paid double what this deal is for it. For $6 it's not even a question

I also agree, go controller if you can. Admittedly I'm not a top-tier gamer, but was frustrated with my struggles on KBM. As soon as I switched to controller I cleared my first run. Much more intuitive control scheme

Works great on steam through gamehub as well. Running in 1080 on 120fps on my Odin 2 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) without breaking a sweat.
