Don't get these and instead get Amazon rechargeable AAs that have a capacity of 2000mah. Advertised as being rechargeable 1000 times.

Cost a dollar a battery for the $16 pack. Even the high capacity 2400mah can be bought for roughly a dollar or even less a battery if you get a good deal.

Don't laugh at me but can rechargeable batteries use any brand charger?

I've used the Amazon batteries, and they don't last for as many charges as other brands. The Rayovac's do have a low mah, but I would spend more on either eneloop or Laddas from Ikea to get a higher mah than the Rayovac and much higher quality than the Amazon.

Consider that these are 'special use' AA for things that get used/cycled heavily and 'abused' a lot (solar lights, constantly charging portable phones and the like ).
There is an inverse relationship between capacity and longevity. Eneloop Pros/2450mAh, don't last nearly as well as Eneloop regular/2000mAh.
AA that are like 2800mAh don't do well at all over time-limited aging and cycle life.
I've got Rayovac AA that are over 12 years old and still work OK. BUT, I SERIOUSLY doubt that modern Rayovac are evenly remotely related to the old ones. .
