When you proceed to checkout, there should be a clickeable text that says "use a gift card, voucher, or promo code". It'll take you to your payment card page but at the bottom, there is a toggle next to "add a gift card, promo code, or voucher" once you toggle it on, it'll give you a blank space to enter the promo code. After you enter it, make sure you click the ARROW button within the same text box to activate the code. If not, it won't apply it and you did all that for nothing :/.

Personally, I really dislike how they make you enter the promo codes on Amazon, but those are the steps.
