I went through so many hdmi arc soundbars looking for one without connection issues so my family never had problems with the sound. I eventually ditched soundbars all together. I have a pair of vanatoo transparent zero's mounted on the wall on the sides of my TV, I use either the TV headphone output or analog audio out (with variable analog output feature enabled in TV.) The vanatoos sense the signal and turn on automatically, they also auto source switch if I decide to use them as bluetooth speakers. I use a cheap polk psw10, the vanatoos have a built in low pass cross over. It's $460 all in for the speakers and sub, and from a sound quality perspective a full sonos arc/era system is a joke compared to it. It also has zero connectivity issues, like it's as reliable as the TV's built in speakers. I haven't seen the remote for the speakers in years. The major downside is I don't have surround sound, and I think most would consider a pair of pint sized studio monitors on wall mounts is not quite as attractive as a sound bar. I do however also use the system as my main house stereo, and if you're within 10ft of them it sounds like you're wearing a decent pair of sennheiser's. Further away it just sounds like an awesome stereo.

I ordered this a couple hours ago, but just decided to cancel my order 12.45am Friday Sept 19. I'm in the dc Metro area in case anyone wants to see if there is one available for shipping.

That's a real long comment about nothing to do with the sound bar being discussed.
