Just so you all know- Asics return policy, when buying directly through them, says the shoe can never be worn to be eligible for return.

So if you choose to try it on and it doesn't fit well, you're ineligible for the return.

It's always better to buy through somewhere that has free returns or go into a B&M store to try them on first before ordering through Asics.

Thanks! Does one have to go half a size or even a full size up like the Gel-Kayanos for these shoes?

When it comes to trailrunners by Asics, I cannot recommend those with Asicsgrip outsole more. Asicsgrip is one of the best in industry, imho on a par with Vibram Megagrip. (MEGA!!!)

All the 13 or 14 are 99.99 Makes sense since you need like 50% more material to make it 2 inches longer!

I'm still salty they seem to have discontinued the Gel Kahana. I've got a couple pair of Kahana 8's that are still in great shape, but they won't last forever. These do seem very similar, pronation friendly, also related to the GT-2000 which I'm wearing today, so I'll probably pick up a pair. Thanks OP.

Ugh, need extra wide...
Oddly for my feet only Asics Extra Wide (EEEE) fits my feet.
Tried Extra Wide Brooks/UA and none of them fit me well (hurts my feet)
New Balance Extra Wide is only other shoes that I can tolerate but not as comfortable as Asics.

I am guessing yes because trail runners are almost always neutral and they say these are based on the GT-2000 which is their neutral road shoe

How would they know that I tried them on? I mean I won't wear it outside, but I have to check if it even fits at home.

I would think any wear around the opening or debris on the bottom, but yeah you could send it back and they deny your return and charge you to ship it back

There is no way they can tell if you tried on the shoes and walked around the inside of your house a couple times. Do you really think someone is checking that closely? They're more concerned with the person who wears them on a run.
