The "Welecome" pop-up tells you not exactly mainstream, but tempting at this price.

There is a VESA-sized square where an apparently removable stand attaches, but I don't see holes for screws or (skimming) any mention of VESA. Hrm.

Yeah I saw what you saw. Absolutely the cheapest 4K monitor I can find on any site. Their other models seem to have good reviews on Amazon. They have a 30 day return policy. I found the same model on a couple other sites and they are listed as having VESA. Although I'm not sure. I bought two for my girlfriends workstation. Will probably make great monitors for productivity. Although, with a 60hz refresh rate I probably wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a gaming monitor.

If there was no issue with the monitor why would you need to contact support?

I bought two of these last week. Shipped fast. The picture quality is excellent. Colors are really fantastic, anti-glare coating is effective. Works great for MacOS.
The USB-C can be used as a display input, but it was unreliable for me.
The housing does indeed look cheap in real life, but the panel is clearly of excellent quality.

People have asked if it has VESA mounting available. Does it??

I don't even know how people tell the difference between 60 and higher refresh rate monitors. I have 2 60hz monitors next to a 144hz monitor and they all look exactly the same.

You will only really notice it when things are moving quickly on your monitor. You can also notice it if you drag a window on your PC back and forth really fast. Higher refresh rate monitors won't leave as many "trails" behind. Additionally, you have to make sure you go into your display settings and set the refresh rate to 144hz. Some monitors don't just default to the highest refresh rate.

If you can't tell the difference then your 144hz monitor might not actually be set to put out the full 144hz. Sometimes you need to enable it in your graphics cards settings. The difference is night and day to me
