Got my wife one of these for her neck pain. It's now sitting in the corner since it didn't work well. A latex (sorry, not "silicone" after looking back) pillow ultimately was her answer.

I bought this, its a decent pillow except twice I slept on it and it somehow pushed on my eye that I was seeing double all of next day. And it did that twice. So I don't use it any more.

Can you recommend a brand or an Amazon link? I'm a few hundred $$$ into pillows and still haven't found a comfortable one that doesn't give me neck/shoulder pain.

Here to request the same. Tried one of these cervical pillows and it was the worst one yet. Currently sitting here with an ice pack on my neck as we speak.

The only one I have found relief with is a very specific temperpedic pillow from Costco but it only lasts a couple months before flattening itself out enough to cause pain again. I don't want to buy a new pillow every couple months but I might be desperate enough to if I don't find a better solution soon.

Have one to treat cervical outlet syndrome. Definitely helps lessen the pain caused by it, but the pillow takes some getting used to and can be quite uncomfortable. Just have to weigh your condition and how you feel from it in the morning vs a fairly uncomfortable pillow. For me, I have to have it, but am searching for a better solution. Worth trying out from Amazon, return it in 30 days if you have to. Ultimately have this one: amazon.com/dp/B0DCZ41B88?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_0

I have a couple cervical pillows like this and they help me immensely due to issues with a disc that tends to bulge every so often. They have significantly lessened my issues and I bring one with me when I travel too as well. HOWEVER Im not sure I could recommend this one as there should be more of a natural slope for the neck for it to be more helpful than a standard foam pillow.

Memory foam pillows are too hard and don't feel comfortable to sleep on, yet they always claim to relief pain and make your sleep comfortable. The irony.

After doing a bunch of research, I ended up going with this one...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKFM7HQZ (Talalay, but currently sold out)

I fully expected to return this $100 pillow but it's been the only one she's been able to use in the long-term so was worth it! It's thick and heavy, but your head sinks through it to a reasonable height. It's best described as extremely "bouncy" if that helps. Apparently Latex is the new Memory foam.
