This is a great plate. I have the frostbite and glacier as well (I think two of each). This does need a bit more heat than the frostbite but not much. I just had my first one of these go after a lot of heavy usage, but these Biqu plates are well worth the money especially on sales like this. In case anyone is wondering, while these are a drop small for the Centauri Carbon, they work perfect... just align it to the front left of the plate.

I use this or the Bambu super tack cold plate for all very long duration or unattended prints. Pretty much eliminates the risk of a failed print because of an adhesion issue.

Also, I have the printer in the same room where I work, so using this plate helps me keep the room cooler. So this has basically become my summertime build plate unless I'm looking for specific textures on the bottom surface.

Im not understanding the reason behind this for so called room temperature printing but on the amazon page it recommends to print PETG at 50c to 70c..thats not room temperature...PLA is at 30c to 50c. I can understand if its just a better plate for adhesion.

The room temp thing is marketing fluff by this manufacturer. You can print cooler with these plates. Like default settings for PLA with this plate is about 35c. Default temp with the hot plates is 65c. So not room temp, but a 30c difference is still a lot cooler and doesn't heat up my room as much and doesn't use as much power.

And having said that, I do run some prints with no heating but it's not as reliable a result as using some heat.

Frostbite has the best adhesion of the 3, sometimes too good which is why you may not always just use that one vs the one in this OP. Vs the one in this OP, the frostbite can print at Ambient temps while I find the one in this OP needs a drop of heat, but not much. The galicier is the smoothest of the three with the least adhesion (which I sometimes want). Depending on what your printing, the surface of the glacier will have a nicer finish on the bottom. I personally have uses for all three plates.
