They are not strong enough to keep the nails of the steel frame in the plastic, especially after weathering and heat expansion

Even the semi brand name Cosco (not Costco) one the lid shape changed and leaks now. That was with 2 yrs of northeast weather. This will probably be worse

If you want that kind of quality, Liftime brand is the answer, however the price is almost double.

I have the 80 gallon from this brand and I'm not happy with it. The walls are flimsy so that stuff inside pushes them out and the lid no longer seats down on them. Then also the lid has started warping from the sun's heat, to where the corners were bending upwards. I ended up attaching some pressure treated wood strips to the lid to keep its shape, and give it enough weight to stay down well.

Just put one of those together. The plastic panels, even after the metal inserts are put into all the panels except the base, flex. Usually I've seen this in everything but the lid, but if you are at one corner of the lid and lift it, the other side dips/warps about 6" The hinges are decent. They are going to have to be seasonal storage, because they are NOT designed for constant use. I would be especially careful around d kids, slamming the lid on the Sam's club one consistently will easily damage it.

I have a home depot one of these and it's reasonably sturdy. I'd feel safer sitting by the corners than the front center though

that wasn't the Costco one. Mine was Cosco. NOT costco. But you'd be better w. Costco, at least you can return it if it does warp.

Arrived with a chipped lid. No replacement option, just a return. Waste of time
