great reviews on Amazon....

P.S. seems like GenZ's not getting the irony. All you have to do is look.
I mean at the reviews. That was the intention: to draw your attention to the reviews (yes, Professor Obvious: accounting for many being promoting,
yet still quite low. Newest reviews are 50/50 praising and trashing )

P.P.S. Not that the DEAL is not useful!
I may even use it myself.
Just lower your expectations

I bought a plan from them for a spare phone.
Huge mistake.
Everytime I power the phone on I get a series of extreme spam/scam texts, 7-10 of them. Every single time.
Keep in mind these text only come in bulk & only when powered on from off or if the sim is swapped to a different phone, so it would seem related to this company being involved.
Then I needed to contact customer service. I have never received any reply after multiple attempts.
Horrid.
Now maybe you won't need to contact them or get spam texts.

I had a horrible experience with them. Tried to leave a review and Amazon would not let me.
(Purchased through Amazon)
Makes me wonder how many others are not being allowed to review these.
Amazon wouldn't even let me attempt a review so it was not related to my choice of words.
Super weird.

3 3 stars on anything Amazon sells usually means, "watch out". YMMV.

I have many phones on InfiMobile service and have not had this problem. If you got a new number that was recycled, and the person(s) ahead of you were careless, yeah, all the spam/junk you are receiving at that new number is not because of you and not because of InfiMobile, but it's because the previous owner was careless. This same thing happens with any phone carrier you might happen to use. Whatever the case, I can understand it is frustrating, and if you hit the bad luck lottery with a number(s) that received lots of spam/junk, it might be worth it to change numbers.

US Mobile. Priority Verizon Data w/their Warp (VZW) plan/SIM. They have great deals, especially if you do annual prepaid. Switched to them after trying other MVNOs and love them.
PM if you have more need of help.

I wouldn't dare to ask like that....But, since you already helping:US mobile seems to me like a possible option for a budget home internet access, but aren't there more reliable options for this?We tried to use Verizon and T-mob home internet and those turned out to be very good. But current pricing became prohibitive

Not sure of the point of a 1 month plan, unless you are traveling and need a spare line for a short time.
I got the 1 year plan back in January (15gb for $112.50, works out to $10.14 with tax/month for me, and the 5 gig for $65 for a year ($5.86/month with tax) for my wife) and have been very happy with them. Even extended my wife's service another year for $75.
Watching their site for a good deal on the 10 gig plan (have never gone above 10 gigs since switching, barely get over 5).

Could be useful as a cheap non-T-mobile number for Metro port-in deals, e.g. $165 Galaxy S25 FE or iPhone 14 or $65 Moto Edge 2025.
