Less than $4 per Swiss Made blade. I was just reading a post on Reddit about somebody trashing the Harbor Freight Warrior 9" pruning blades that sell for $9 for 5 (again, those are only 9" vs these being 12") and horrible they were and made me think of these. Only $4 per blade is a pretty good deal. As an FYI, these blades sell for $10 per blade at ACE Hardware.

Product Overview
Diablo's fleam ground Recip saw blades provide the best cutting/pruning performance on the market. Bi-directional tooth design allows for fast and smooth cutting in both directions. Made with precision fleam ground teeth, these blades cut super fast in wood materials.
  • Bi-directional tooth design for fast and smooth cutting in both directions
  • Precision fleam ground teeth for super fast cutting in wood materials
  • Deep-seated gullets for easy chip removal and fast cutting
  • A one-of-a-kind tip design enables faster and easier plunging
  • Hardened cutting edge for long and durable cutting life
  • Ideal for pruning wood, including pressure-treated wood

Last month a deal for 3 Diablo carbide 12" blades for $20 hit the front page. That seems like the better deal to me. Carbide power tool blades are a huge improvement over the best steel blades in most applications.

I mean carbide vs not carbide is a fair point, however - have you ever used a foot long pruning blade? The blade often bends long before the teeth wear down. Now if you're talking a circular saw blade which typically never bends, then carbide tips are a much bigger deal relative to blade longevity.

In the pruning blades' defense, those things work so well holy shit.
