If you don't need much, say, for indoor plants, I'd say go for it. But realize that two 8-qt bags comes out to 4 gallons of potting mix, or just over 1/2 of a cubic foot.
Walmart routinely carries 1 cubic foot bags of MG potting mix for around the same price, and 2 cubic foot bags for less than twice as much. Meaning, as usual, the small capacity bags are overpriced.
