This is normal of most coffee makers. They test the grounds, so sometimes you'll see water or coffee grounds in the machines. Normal.

This is tempting. Looking at the heights of the spout, I don't think it would fit most 16oz or larger travel mugs

when I make mine in 3200 for my mugs, I fill it into a measuring cup and then pour into mug.

I have a Saeco Intuita from about 8 years ago. I believe it's also made by Phillips. I'm wondering if this machine is less reliable than that.

Mine still works great every now and then it makes sounds that it didn't use to make. Can't really explain it.
