$139 seems a little high to me (even with tariffs), unless you need one now. They went on sale under $100 a few times last year.

I bought one for ~$100 from the orange box and thought I would like it, but for the weight and performance, (with 4ah battery), it didn't seem to have the rpm needed prune small limbs smaller than diameter of thumb without chain skipping or wanting to jump compared to a echo cs355t (my go to) or stihl 019t that I already have. It's not a fair comparison, price point, etc. but for me I had to return it, as it would not perform for the work I was expecting it to help me with.

I bought a couple and sold them for like $100-120 just to make a few bucks.

I thought it was alright, for performance, but only about similar to the Ryobi I got for $50 on clearance, just longer.

I bought the Ryobi 40V 4Ah kit for $125 a couple years ago, and it's great! Cut through a 6'x12" log lengthwise.

Have several gas chainsaws, Stihl, Craftsman, Poulan. Used this Dewalt for the first time and I found it surprisingly good for cutting a fallen tree trunk up maybe 8" across. Used a sawzall for all the small limbs to haul it away. Is it a honking fast RPM gas Stihl? No. But it was convenient. Would buy again without question. Not to mention climbing a ladder a gas saw is a pain.

To edit. Make sure to drain the oil from the Dewalt when done, it will leak out.

Store it on its side with the oil cap facing up. It won't leak.

Good. I just need to mine some Uranium to power up my time machine.

With the 621, did they fix the premature failure problems? I have a dead 620, and there are quite a few videos on YouTube showing dead saws.

Got mine when they were going for 88 bucks last year. Been a solid performer for everything I've used it for. Handled several sizable branches that came down during a heavy summer storm and was perfect for cutting up my old 30x30 deck. Not a single complaint. Would pay the 139 if I needed it
