From description

-USB A & USB C Smart Charging】The extra plug wall outlet features 4 USB port, USB A port features 5V/2.4A Max output. USB C charging port features 5V/3A MAX. Built in smart technology, detecting charging devices and deliver optimal charging speed automatically, compatible with Kindle and most USB devices. NOTE: The UCB-C port is not Quick Charger 3.0, doesn't support any other devices which need 9~22V charging voltage
-【1800J Surge Protector Outlet】- 3 level complementary Surge Protector Circuit which composed of TVS, MOV (metal oxide varistor), GDT (gas discharge tube), with minimum 1800J energy absorbing capacity, could protect your devices much more quickly and reliably than other brand's 1 level MOV(metal oxide varistor) Surge Protection Circuits

This is 8 bucks. How much would JUST a 45+W USB-C charger cost?

Nailed it, this is GREAT value and convenience. Don't let the bros complaining it won't charge both their laptops at the same time slow us reasonable folks down XDI found these things to be perfect for behind entertainment console where I need a lot of power ports to drive tons of small devices that compete with real sockets for TV/sound/game/etc. def have their place!

That's what most things are going to charge at. Not sure if you've ever obsessively metered every USB-C device, wall wart & charger combination in your house and workplace (I have), but even if I use a really good 45W charger (i.e., one with a lot of supported charging circuits) my Pixel 9 Pro can only milk about 25W out of a 45W charger—and even then for only part of the charge cycle; most of the time it's going to sit around 15W.

Other than the absolutely newest phones, pretty much the only things you'll see charge faster than ~25W are laptops and tablets (although 15W should still be enough to keep everything but laptops alive for quite awhile, if not indefinitely)—which is what you want since higher amperage charging isn't great for li-ion batteries, and by "isn't great" I mean it's literally the thing that kills them. Which brings me to my next point: mitigating factors.

Battery optimization is going to drop your charging speed to about 15W-18W after 50% or so regardless (depends on your settings and the hardware), and even if you hit a really high charging rate (which again: you do not want) your charging speed is going to immediately drop due to thermal throttling regardless of its rated charging capabilities. Having said all that, this surge protector'a USB-C ports being rated at 15W might mean it charges at less than 15W—the specs don't say if the 2 ports share a circuit, or if all 4 USB ports share a circuit—so that's definitely a consideration. An even greater consideration might be that you're nitpicking the secondary charging ports on a 6-outlet surge protector that costs $8.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. 🙏
